Since the VANITAS show unfortunately took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, people who would normally come to my show, could not due to health reasons, restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances.

I’ve made this page so everyone who was physically unable to come to the show can see the pieces and if they choose, read why I made them and my thoughts on them.

Some of the themes explored in these paintings include: mortality, the afterlife, spirituality, morality, and mental health

My philosophy for this show was

“Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable”
